Peace in the Valley is the first full-length album by The Sorry Devils. Listen closely to experience peace, valleys, trouble, women, troubled women, women trouble, Datsuns, brunches, and Mr. Raindrops.
The Sorry Devils got started in early 2012. Bryan, Ricky, David, Eli and Rob were drawn together by their shared loves — Oregon, Levon Helm, broken microphones, Canadian Whiskey, Farmstivals, and a bar called Momo's. The band name was given to them by an old cowboy in Santa Fe. They want to do right, but it's awful hard. Or maybe they want to do wrong, but they feel just terrible about it. The Sorry Devils play shit-kicking forest boogie and soulful railroad rock and roll, honed beneath the Hawthorne Bridge and above Paranoia Park, in proud Portland, Oregon.
All songs played and written by The Sorry Devils.
Guests include Victor Nash on trumpet/stomps/hollers, Christina Cano on harmonies, and Amanda Spring on other harmonies.
